Starting a washing programme

Check that the baskets have

been loaded correctly and that

the spray arms can rotate freely.

Turn on the water tap.

Press the ON/OFF button.

Setting and starting the pro-

gramme

To select a programme, press the button of the programme

you wish to select, (see "Washing programmes" chart). The

programme indicator comes on. The remaining time ex-

pected for the cycle will be shown in the multi-display.

3 During the dishwashing cycle, the remaining time

shown in the multi-display may be adjusted according

to the size of the load, degree of soiling, etc.

Close the dishwasher door.

The dishwashing cycle will begin.

A light signal in the form of a dot appears at floor level.

3 If the dishwasher is built in at high level with flush fit-

ting cupboard doors around it, the light signal cannot

be seen.

The dot shaped light signal is not dangerous. (It is not

a laser.) It lights up while a dishwasher cycle is run-

ning and goes out when the cycle ends.

Interrupting or cancelling a

washing programme in progress

1 Interrupt or cancel a washing programme in

progress only if it is absolutely necessary.

Interrupting or Cancelling a washing programme by

opening the dishwasher door:

1 Hot steam may escape when the door is opened.

There is a risk of scalding.

– Open the door carefully. The programme will stop.

– Close the door. The programme will start from the point

at which it was interrupted.

Cancelling a washing programme in progress

To cancel a washing programme you have to reset the dish-

washer; press simultaneously function buttons 2 and 3 for

about 2 seconds. After about 2 seconds all the programme

indicator lights will illuminate indicating that the running

programme has been cancelled.

If a new washing programme is to be selected, check that

there is detergent in the detergent dispenser.

Setting the delay timer

3 With the delay timer you can delay the start of a

dishwashing cycle for between 1 and 19 hours.

1.Press the delay timer button repeatedly until the multi-

display shows the desired time delay, for example 12h, if

the cycle is to start in 12 hours. The delay timer indicator

is illuminated.

2.Select dishwashing cycle.

3.The time remaining to the start of the cycle is continu-

ously displayed (e. g. 12h, 11h, 10h, … 1h etc.).

Cancelling a delay start

To cancel a delay start in progress you have to reset the

dishwasher; follow the same instructions given in "Cancel a

washing programme in progress". Cancelling a delay start in-

volves also the cancelling of the washing programme set.

In this case you have to set the washing programme again.

To change the time delay:

As long as the cycle has not yet started, you can still change

the setting by pressing the DELAY TIMER button.

Cancelling the time delay:

Press the Delay Timer button repeatedly until the length of

the selected cycle appears in the multi-display. The selected

dishwashing cycle will begin immediately.

To change a dishwashing cycle

As long as the cycle has not yet started, you can still change

the dishwashing cycle. First cancel the dishwashing cycle,

then reset the time delay, lastly select the new dishwashing

cycle.

Switching off the dishwasher

When the dishwasher cycle has ended, the dot-shaped light

signal below the door of the appliance goes out.

If the acoustic signal has been enabled, a continuous tone

will sound for 15 seconds at the end of the dishwashing cy-

cle.

If the dishwasher door is not opened, the acoustic signal

sounds again after 3 and 6 minutes.

With some dishwashing cycles, the drying fan continues to

run even after the end of the cycle.
